In order for the installer to connect your gas hob or oven, a cable is required to connect the appliance to the power source.

This flexible cable provides a proven solution for connecting a gas stove. It is dedicated to all models of Solgaz brand gas hobs and ovens, adapted to all mains gases.

Thanks to its design, it allows easy and convenient gas supply from the installation to the gas hob or oven.

Instructions for use and installation of flexible gas line

1. Close the gas valve.
2. Stretch the cable evenly to the desired length. Limit the stretch to the maximum length indicated on the cable.
3. First, install the end with an R male thread made according to EN 10226-1 using only approved materials in the required amount to seal the thread. Perform sealing on the thread.
4. Then install the end with a draw nut having an internal thread G made in accordance with ISO 228-1. A flat elastomeric gasket supplied with the cable is used to seal this connection.
5. Open the gas valve and check the tightness of the connection.
6. If leaks are found, the connection, sealing and tightening of the cable should be checked and the leak test should be carried out again.

Note: Any work on the gas installation may only be carried out by persons with the appropriate authorization.

In addition:

• Sealing pads must be used only once.
• Do not connect wires together to achieve a longer connection.
• Wires may be stretched only to the length indicated on the wire.
• Do not twist the cable axially during installation.
• Do not use the cable in an environment containing chlorine.

Warranty

The manufacturer provides a 24-month warranty. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage to the cable resulting from improper installation.
